So...I suck...at blogging, that is

Okay...so it was 2 weeks since my first blog. And I obviously haven't been blogging twice-thrice per week as originally planned. But, I'm here today...so I guess that says something.

I had a pretty nice weekend. I had Friday off for my flex day - so I took advantage of that. I got in a fabulous hour & a half workout Friday morning - then went to Home Depot to get my 3 gigantic hanging baskets for the back yard...they are beautiful. After that, I went downtown & met co-workers for a nice lunch...followed up by a special trip to Lick's Ice Cream shop where we sat outside & enjoyed the beautiful weather. Then went into the office for a bit & did a little work before going condo shopping with Jen for her first place. Emily & I tagged along for moral support. After that, hit happy hour & then girls' dinner at Changs. It was a pretty damn perfect girls day.
Saturday was nice, too. Sean was working on his final for school all day, so after a morning workout with Bo, I went back downtown & met up with Jen, Josh and Emily for drinks. Chris & Matt joined up with us later.
And Sunday was a lovely day around the house. Sean & I had a little argument in the morning, but we turned the day around. We completely re-organized the garage so that there is sooooo much more space in there...then we took the dogs for a walk & had a nice dinner together at home.

So, I'm not so much happy that it's Monday again...but after a nice weekend, who can complain?

Today will be super long, though. I have a meeting with my boss in 20 minutes & then off to Colorado Springs for the afternoon - for a meeting. I'm going to try to make it back home in time for Boot Camp at 6:00. Crossing my fingers.

Also, I'm really nervous about the race this weekend - I ran on Thursday night & it was rough. I think I'll be fine with the 3 miles...but I hope they give me the downhill leg rather than the uphill one. :(
My workout plan for the week is:
Monday - Bootcamp
Tuesday - Workout with Bo (upper & lower)
Wednesday - Run
Thursday - Workout with Bo (upper & lower)
Friday - Run
Saturday - break
Sunday - race
Hope this is good enough to get me through the race!

The only other thing I have going on is that Sean is in Kansas until Thursday this week. I always miss him terribly when he's gone for more than one night...but it'll probably be good for my diet & workout schedule this week. Still...

Okay...off to finish prepping for my meeting.
I promise to do better this week with blogging.
It's really only for me anyway.
